TASkeno is Tasmania’s official Keno operator, delivering jackpot draws, promotions and gameplay experiences across a network of more than 130 venues across Tasmania.
Promotions change regularly. And jackpot information needs to remain current and engaging. So TASkeno relies on clear, consistent communication throughout its venue network.
It's like a party on every screen.
Today, Fusion Signage runs that communication.
TASkeno came with two challenges
The first came following a system update. It removed their method of displaying real-time jackpot information on venue screens.
The second was operational. Frequent state-wide promotions meant large volumes of point-of-sale posters needed to be printed, distributed and manually replaced across venues.
As the network continued to grow, the team needed a more scalable way to manage content.
Simple backend access to monitor screen health, identify outages and resolve quickly.
Align time‑bound promotions and information to specific venues and time windows, with multiple concurrent content streams.
Per‑screen asset IDs and meaningful naming for fast administration.
TASkeno deployed Fusion Signage across its venue network, creating a central platform to manage promotions, jackpot messaging, gameplay information and customer communications. Talk about a dynamic duo.
Rather than updating individual locations, the team can now create content once and distribute it across venue groups, campaigns and screen formats. Whether a promotion runs state-wide or only within a specific group of venues, content can be distributed in minutes. No printing. No shipping. No manual poster replacements.
From jackpot highlights and "how to play" content through to state-wide promotions, everything can be scheduled ahead of time and managed remotely. Easy-peasy.
By moving promotional communications to digital signage, TASkeno has significantly reduced its reliance on printed point-of-sale materials.
Campaign changes that once required printing and distributing new posters can now be completed digitally from head office. The result is a faster, more flexible approach to venue communications, with less administrative overhead for the team.
To manage over 180 screens across Tasmania ease of visibility is a must. The TASkeno team can quickly identify offline screens, investigate issues and coordinate support where needed. How? With Fusion Signage's monitoring tools, of course.
Interestingly, the original Fusion Signage rollout was planned to include only one or two screens per venue.
But once venues began seeing the impact of dynamic, digital content – and the ease in managing the network with Fusion Signage – demand quickly increased.
The rollout was delivered in partnership with Office Solutions. They worked alongside TASkeno and Fusion Signage to coordinate hardware provisioning, staging and deployment across the state. From pre-imaged devices to regional rollouts. The partnership means venues can go online quickly and efficiently, in any location.
One of the things TASkeno values most is Fusion Signage's willingness to evolve alongside its customers.
The two teams continue to collaborate on future enhancements, including solutions for near real-time jackpot messaging and upcoming interrupt-style content capabilities designed for urgent communications. Something TASkeno's industry is missing.
As TASkeno continues to evolve its venue communications strategy, digital signage will remain a key part of the customer experience. Through an ongoing collaborative partnership, TASkeno and Fusion Signage continue to work together on future functionality designed to support the evolving needs of venues, customers and operations teams. How sweet.
New capabilities are on the horizon including real-time jackpot messaging and upcoming interrupt-style content capabilities designed for urgent communications and a growing network of engaged venues, the focus remains the same: delivering the right information, in the right place, at the right time. And doing it in a way that's simple to manage at scale.
