Well, would you look at that? Another year sped right by. Maybe it's because we got one less day than last year? We thought it was about time to cap it all off, wrap it all up, list our many highlights and pat ourselves on the back a bit. 

A few things haven’t changed – like our love for donuts. But we've had a big year in other areas (less important areas 🍩).

Let's unpack.

2025 saw the Fusion Signage family grow in the best possible ways.

• • Rod – we don't really know what Rod does, but we know it's important to you and important to us. Thanks Rod! We think.
  • Fernanda – here to make our customers feel so supported. 🥰
  • Subin – the wizard of software engineering and UI design. 🧙🏽‍♂️
  • Dan – yet another wizard of the software engineering kind. 💫
  • Krissy – oh my days, another support superstar? You guys are lucking out lately. ⭐
  • Baby boy, Kota Buddy – welcomed by Gab and Osc back in February. Current skill set = crawling, giggling at fart sounds, and working towards running his first demo. 💙

Our second (and still coolest) stand at Integrate.

Last year’s stand was the first. But this year’s was bigger, better and with 30 more donuts. 🍩

As Integrate’s Premier Software Partner (for the 9th year running!), our content was displayed all over ICC Sydney. Wherever you went – tech talks, keynotes, the cafes, the bar, the stairs, the toilet – Fusion Signage was there. 

And, of course, we had our very own stand again. Nestled right across from the Central Bar. With its signature soft carpet, curved edges, and the smell of cinnamon floating through the air – it became a bit of a hub. A sweet, comfy, donut-fuelled oasis in a sea of LED and lanyards. How lovely. ✨

We ticked some heavy-hitters off the roadmap this year. Each one designed to make your screens more dynamic, your workflows smoother, and your reporting smarter. 🤓

Power BI and Tableau integrations – live dashboards on your screens.

Synchronisation – get your screens playing in perfect harmony.

Audit logs – for tracking every change behind the scenes.

Google Sheets metadata update – one design and one playlist for multiple locations.

We're almooooosssst super secure and certified.

Earlier in the year, we set out to get committed to your security. We understand that when you trust us with your digital signage needs, you’re also entrusting us with your data and your business. That’s why we're becoming ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and obtaining SOC 2 Type 2 attestation. And we're nearly done – yay!  😎

Our Engineering Team have been hard at work whipping up your feature requests, squashing bugs and continually developing our software – our regular updates mean we grow with you and your business. Below are some of the development highlights of 2025.

• Multiple player releases including:

  • Adding support for Power BI and Tableau reports.
  • Remote screenshotting.
  • Remote logs.
  • Native video for Tizen.
  • Device recovery.
    
• CMS stability improvements (particularly during bulk media uploads).
  
• Moved Fusion Signage onto a new infrastructure stack to improve security posture and platform stability.
• Security uplift – e.g. DKIM / SPF.
• Beginnings of device management through the portal (screenshots, player updates), with more to come.
  
• Plenty of thorough security questionnaires.
• And as always – bug fixes. 🐛

Wintervention.

Another Winter passed and we successful intervened. This time, in the boss' backyard. We were definitely invited and didn't just show up.

James smoked some ribs and cooked up some snags. We drank beers in the arvo and whiskey in the evening (only to warm up). We also threw one stone at two birds and welcomed Fernanda officially to the team. 💙

The Bi-Weekly Insight became the Monthly Catch-Up.

After 52 Bi-Weekly Insights, we made the (super tough) call to change our name and our frequency. We're busy little bees here at Fusion Signage – way too many cool new things are coming for you and our focus simply must be on those cool things. 💫

We welcomed (from here on out) the Monthly Catch-Up. A monthly email filled with digital signage inspiration, tips and tricks, trends and updates. This little project is one of love and excitement for our industry! Sharing our musings, latest digital signage trends, and anything we find really cool.
