There’s a lot to be said about the Fusion Signage team. We’re a hilarious, smart, and beautiful bunch (all aptly self-proclaimed). One of us loves Saladas too much, another has a cricket-themed curse. 🏏
The team has grown this past year, so we thought it was time for an updated meet the team.
Let us introduce ourselves. 💙
James
Co-Founder and Managing Director
I’m the guy who does business stuff and makes sure everyone else is doing business stuff too. I’m also somewhat of a master chef – whipping up treats with my eyes closed just because I can.
I have definitely fallen head-first into the roll of, “I cook woodfired pizza and smoke meat,” since becoming a Dad.
Showing Hallie new things is one of my favourite things. And my black belt in jiu-jitsu keeps the office crew in line. 😎
Emily
Co-Founder and Mama
Our two-year-old Hallie (AKA Hallie-Bear) is my world. I'm in my best Mama era, with a perpetual mum bun always, and am absolutely loving it. In fact, we'll soon be meeting baby boy - due in just weeks as I'm writing this.
I’ve had many creative outlets over the years – one in particular being an event styling business, Arnold Events. I named it after a toy giraffe James bought me years ago (in case you were wondering). 🦒

Creative Director and Motion Graphics Designer
You can catch me slapping the bass with my band around the valley, crocheting, or curating endless Spotify playlists. 🎸
I'm in constant state of creating – be it graphic design, painting, crocheting a blanket. That, or I'm at reformer pilates (my new obsession).
My shoulder’s always popping out and if I’m not playing live with my band, you’ll find me front and center at a concert! 🤘

Manager of Marketing
Hiya! I spend my days chasing the little guy around the house and tending to his every insane need. Who knew babies were so needy? We're a family of homebodies who love to host and cook for our pals.
I used to own some pilates studios (where I met Em and James!) and in-between that and Fusion Signage – I worked as a graphic designer for a crypto company and cleaned 364 houses in a year. Fusion Signage is one of the better jobs.

Customer Success and Experience Manager
I was born in Brazil. Sound Canadian. And now I call Brisbane home. My journey into tech began by accidentally crashing a CEO meet-and-greet. What began as a whoopsie turned into my career!
You’ll usually find me hanging with my rescue pup Momo (world traveller), husky Kaiju (drama queen), and Basil the cat (affectionate only at feeding time). I love a good old-fashioned murder mystery. No rom-coms, no fluff, no fantasies – just pure crime.

Customer Success and Experience Specialist
I’m a Sydney native who’s just moved up to the Gold Coast. 🌞
If the sun’s out, you’ll find me at the beach, on a pilates mat, or riding my bike (pedals, not revs). If the weather’s gloomy, I’m at home cooking up something yummo, nose-deep in a good book, or tackling my latest obsession – building LEGO flower. It’s addictive. Send help. Or more bricks please.
Rod
Senior DevOps Engineer
When I have a rare burst of energy (thanks to my three kids), you’ll find me playing volleyball, bushwalking, or yoga-ing. When I have the normal low amount of energy – I’m fixing things around the house, playing boardgames with the fam, or perfecting my spicy smoked wings.
I’ve always worked in IT – it’s always almost fun. I’ve also worked with Ben and Sean before (which is either a sign of great teamwork or a clerical error). What else can I squeeze in here? Love camping, never have time to watch cricket or tennis (but still claim to be a fan), I enjoy playing golf – but only under its true name, whack-f***.

Senior Software Engineer
I’ve been in software engineering for 6 years. I used to work with Ben at a different company (before we all realised that Fusion Signage was way cooler and started working here).
If I’m not writing code, you’ll find me spending time with my family, or braving the wilderness in a tent I put up all by myself!
I’ve done a bit of everything in my time – so if you need some mail delivered, a wound dressed, or a dungeon to dragon, I’m your guy!
Ben
Senior Software Engineer
I used to be a Software Engineer at Amazon. I met James in high school – during an IT class, actually. I was much better than him.
I spend my weekends being annihilated at Mario Cart thanks to my 6 year old son. I’ve become obsessed with gapless playback at Fusion Signage.
And I need someone to free me from a curse. I hate cricket, but can’t seem to stop watching it? 🏏
Dan
Senior Software Engineer
I've joined the team after working as a Software Dev Engineer at Amazon (with Ben, in fact!). Before that, I had a different career entirely 🤓 but my calling is in software.
Outside work, life is a whirlwind of two kids, two cheeky dogs, and one infinitely fluffy cat. My kids keep me busy with “berry sushi pasta” at their pretend cafe and awesome adventure games. When I’m not playing along, I’m tinkering with electronics, 3D printing (definitely useful things), or gaming on the PS5.
I’m also a certified dad-joke specialist, so brace yourself. 😎
Amber
Head of Security
I am Dad’s number 1 fan.
Mum and Mini-Mum are okay too. But I hate everything else and will bark at it if it moves or looks like it may move.
Don’t tell anyone, but I’m actually a sweetheart.
