Let's take a look at everything we've achieved for June 2026! 😎

Our software

Added

  • Added OAuth2 authentication to APIs (on request only).
  • Added additional guidance to add media modals.
  • Show additional guidance when Power BI connection fails.
  • Support custom themes in customer portal (on request only).
  • Show active licences next to companies on company management page.
  • Show warning message when pairing screen running old player version.

Internal Testing

  • Added quick publish to Manage page.
  • Added reseller fleet view to Deploy page.
  • Added ability to remotely clear player caches.

Changed

  • Changed many headings to use sentence case instead of lower case.
  • Reduced offline cache time of Google Sheets data to 1 minute (from 5 minutes).
  • Canva integration now uses per-user integration connections.
  • Changed Settings page to have a vertical navigation instead of tabs with sub tabs.
  • Regrouped Settings navigation under shared headings.

Removed

  • Removed purchase history tab from settings.

Fixed

  • Fixed rendering bug on content usage modal.
  • Videos that are added directly to designs are now correctly processed after upload.
  • Fixed rendering bugs when preparing BrightSign settings file.
  • Fixed trial signup bugs for users with + in their email address.
  • Support Matroska video formats when masquerading as mp4 container files.
  • Deleting a screen now also removes it from its synchronisation group.
  • Fixed company search bug for reseller accounts.

Security

  • Applied ongoing security improvements and hardening measures.
Android Player (2.14.0)

Added

  • Support Amazon Signage Stick.

Removed

  • Do not request “Display over other apps” permission on FireTV.

Fixed

  • Fixed black screen on restart bug introduced in 2.13.0.

Android Player (2.13.0)

Removed

  • Remove non-functional code supporting TeamViewer.

Fixed

  • Fix race condition when player disconnects immediately after joining sync group.
  • Fix playback crash if player disconnects during sync wait.
  • Ensure designs are garbage collected fully.
  • Ensure TextureView video surfaces are released.

Security

  • Applied ongoing security improvements and hardening measures.
