Passkeys are a new industry‑standard way to log in without using a traditional password. Instead of typing something you remember, your device proves who you are using secure cryptography and built‑in authentication. Things like:

• Face ID or Touch ID.
• A fingerprint reader.
• A device PIN.
• A hardware security key (like YubiKey).

Your passkey never leaves your device and is never shared with Fusion Signage. This makes passkeys far more secure than passwords and highly resistant to phishing and account takeovers.

How passkeys work in Fusion Signage

Fusion Signage supports passkeys as a secure sign‑in option for your account. You can register one or more passkeys and use them to log in instantly using your device’s built‑in security.

Once passkeys are enabled:

• Passwords are no longer used to log in.
• Your account is protected by strong cryptographic authentication.
• You can use biometrics, device unlock, or a security key instead.

Passkeys can be used for:

• Password‑less sign‑in to the Fusion Signage web portal.
• Strong multi‑factor authentication (MFA).
• Account self‑recovery (when multiple passkeys are registered).
