11 stores. 21 screens. Many well-dressed feet.
Bstore has been using Fusion Signage since 2022 to power digital signage across its Australian store network.
What started as a simple way to display campaign imagery, promotional messages and brand content has grown into a much more targeted in-store marketing channel.
The standout feature along the way: tagging.
Meet Bstore
Bstore is an Australian footwear retailer with 11 stores across Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
Its bright stores are home to brands like Birkenstock, Dr. Martens, Blundstone and Teva. Its screens are home to seasonal launches, marketing campaigns, promotional events, sale periods and ongoing brand storytelling.
Bstore first explored digital signage as its store network expanded, looking for a simple and reliable way to manage campaign imagery, promotional messages and brand content across its stores.
Our trusted partner Amped Digital took the time to understand Bstore’s stores and marketing requirements before recommending Fusion Signage.
“From our first discussions, the Amped Digital team demonstrated a strong understanding of digital signage and took the time to learn about our business, store environment and marketing requirements,” says Robynn Kelly, Marketing Specialist for Bstore Australia.
“Based on those conversations, they recommended Fusion Signage as the most suitable platform for our needs.”
Bstore started with a Basic licence. It fit nicely. Then they grew.

As Bstore grew, their digital signage flexed with them
As store numbers and Bstore’s screen footprint increased, so did the complexity of the marketing task.
More stores. More screens. More campaigns. More messages needing to land in the right places.
So Bstore upgraded to Fusion Signage Pro licences.
“A few months ago, we upgraded to the Pro plan to provide our marketing team with greater flexibility, functionality and control over our expanding digital signage network,” Kelly says.
The upgrade unlocked content tagging, scheduling, playlist management and finer control over where and when each piece of content appears.
And one feature quickly became the favourite.
Tagging.
Saying the right thing in the right place
With tagging, Bstore can assign tags to screens and create rules for them to follow.
That means less time managing, fewer playlists to build and more granular control.
For Bstore, it has meant moving away from a one-message-fits-all approach and making individual screens or groups of screens more unique.
“Content tagging has been one of the most valuable features for Bstore,” Kelly says.
“It has enabled us to make each screen or group of screens more unique, rather than relying on one message across the entire network. This means we can communicate several different messages at the same time and appeal to different customer groups, interests and shopping needs.”
And those different screens have different jobs to do.
Front-window screens typically carry Bstore’s headline campaign, promotion or event, designed to capture the attention of passers-by and draw them inside.
Once inside, screens can support the same campaign or add another layer with alternative product categories, key brands, new arrivals, product benefits and evergreen brand content.
Right message. Right place.
The WOW factor
Bstore’s words, not ours. Straight to the pool room.
“The standout WOW factor is content tagging,” Kelly says.
“This feature has been a genuine game changer for our marketing team. It allows us to distribute content across specific stores, screens or groups of screens without needing to manually manage each screen individually.”
That has saved Bstore’s marketing team significant time and made it easier to deliver tailored content across the network.
It’s exactly why tagging exists.

Shoes are made to move
Bstore uses a significant amount of video across its screens.
And for a footwear retailer, movement has its perks.
“We use a significant amount of video content across our screens because movement is highly effective at attracting attention,” Kelly says.
“Video allows us to showcase footwear in a more engaging and visually appealing way, helping to bring our campaigns and products to life within the store environment.”
Front windows can grab attention. In-store screens can keep the campaign going.
All while giving Bstore more flexibility than static signage.
Quick-smart updates
Another major benefit for Bstore is speed.
The marketing team can make changes from anywhere, with updates appearing across the relevant screens within seconds.
That means Bstore can respond quickly to campaign changes, stock availability, promotional opportunities and changing business priorities.
Campaigns can also be prepared ahead of time. Once an activity is confirmed, Bstore develops its artwork and video, uploads the assets, builds the relevant playlists and either publishes immediately or schedules a future go-live.
Before publishing, the team reviews its tags, playlists, stores, screens and campaign dates to make sure everything lands where and when it should.
Then there’s media expiry.
Time-sensitive content can be given an expiry date. When that date arrives, it automatically deletes from the account and is removed from any playlists using it. No expired promotional content hanging around. How nice.
Digital signage has a seat at the marketing table
Fusion Signage is now included as a key marketing touchpoint from the early stages of Bstore’s campaign planning.
It sits alongside social media, website content, email marketing, window displays and in-store collateral.
“This workflow allows us to coordinate our digital screens with other marketing touchpoints,” Kelly says.
And once everything has been scheduled and published, it doesn’t require constant attention.
“Fusion Signage continues to deliver the correct messaging across our screen network without requiring constant manual management.”
Digital signage doing its job without becoming another daily job.
The result: more responsive screens
The result is a more targeted and responsive digital signage network.
Bstore’s marketing team has more flexibility and control. It can tailor messaging by store, screen or location and respond quickly when campaigns, stock or priorities change.
Store teams have noticed too.
According to Kelly, they appreciate seeing fresh content regularly and feel the screens allow campaigns, brands and promotional messages to be presented more strategically in-store.
And for customers, Bstore says the screens help create a more dynamic, distinctive and technology-forward retail experience while keeping stores feeling current, relevant and visually engaging.
Beautiful digital signage that’s not rocket science.
