Digital signage for activewear levels up with LSKD’s 1% Better episodes on screens

Stores are no longer about housing products alone. LSKD’s new Armadale store walks the talk of that. Enter: the brand activation era.

Digital signage in retail stores work beautifully. It catches attention in the window. Helps with wayfinding in the store. And sprukes upsells at the counter.

But what if it could transform the retail space into a full experience?

For Aussie activewear brand LSKD, digital signage is a vital tool. Their new Armadale store has positioned itself as a piece of brand content. Enter: 1% better episodes. These cinematic brand captures project on walls for a totally unique experience.

Here’s a look at how LSKD’s new Amadale store raises the bar on digital signage for the retail world.

Who is LSKD?

LSKD is an activewear brand that began in a backyard shipping container in 2002. Come 2020 and the team opened their first HQ in Logan. Their buttery smooth gear (naturally we love the Fusion shorts) is now found right across Australia. As far north at Sunshine Coast, all the way down in Hobart and right over to Claremont, Western Australia.

More than fashion, they’re committed to becoming 1% better everyday, and encouraging their community to do the same.

The goal for digital signage in LSKD’s 36th store

In 2026, LSKD opened their shiny new Armadale store with a fresh vision in mind.

“We wanted the store itself to feel like a piece of our brand content,” says Store Development Manager, Macauley Ryan.

While many retail stores use digital signage to grab attention, wayfind, educate and upsell, LSKD’s innovative ways shake up digital signage for fashion and retail. It elevates the customer experience, and communicates brand values simultaneously.

“We’re a fast-moving brand and that demands the same agility from our marketing team. So our main requirement was straightforward: deliver high impact, inspiring branded content and have the ability to move quickly whenever promotions or campaigns change.”

Here’s how they made it happen.

The digital signage setup

New store. Fresh setup. The crew usually fit out the store with digital signage at point of sale, LED displays in fitting rooms and screens in windows. How do we know? Because Fusion Signage has been lucky enough to power up a bunch of screens for LSKD already.

This time they took it further.

The Armadale store’s screenscape includes:

  • Elevated projection on the wall
  • In-wall bay-mounted LED screens
  • Large shopfront LED screen

This is a unique digital signage combo for an Australian specialty retail store. Three distinct display technologies run under one management system, with each doing a different job.

Datmedia provided the hardware, and Fusion Signage licences were supplied through Muir Electrical and The Good Guys. LSKD’s digital signage runs on Advanced Fusion Signage licences.

The results: speedy updates and displays with impact

”We brought our brand videos and 1% better episodes to life through an elevated projection on the wall,” says Macauley Ryan. These episodes profile the athletes LSKD works with and runs on screens continuously, rather than as campaign filler.

“Compared to other platforms we have looked at or used in the past, Fusion Signage stands out for how much ground it covers from one system, projection, in-wall LED and shopfront LED all managed through the same interface, rather than needing separate tools for each display type,” Macauley said.

"A lot of signage solutions still feel clunky or require technical know-how to update, whereas Fusion Signage is genuinely built for speed and ease of use by a non-technical marketing team."

Digital signage in fashion: a fresh beginning

Big vision brands set out to make even bigger impact. Fusion Signage Co-Owner, James Ingram, says "LSKD has done an amazing job of adopting multiple technologies to bring their brand to life, their marketing team has an amazing vision and we are excited and proud to be a part of bringing it to life for them."
