Ben can’t remember a time when he wasn't a software engineer, and we like him that way. Traditionally a full stack engineer (JDK and NodeJS), he’s worked at Amazon and on software supporting Queenslanders returning to work post-injury. Screen problems are Ben’s thing. Flickering displays, playback quality issues, syncs out of sync – he’s your guy.

For the last few years Ben has spent his time unpacking, and testing, the internals of every media player on the market. Incremental improvements to Fusion Signage make Ben do spontaneous jazz hands (he just loves knowing it meets the standards of customers and partners). Ben pretty much has a shrine dedicated to his love for the Philips BDL4550D screen. And he leads Fusion Signage’s team of engineers as the CTO (but he doesn’t like that title and hates that we brought this up).

Software engineering has quietly taken over or supplemented all of Ben’s hobbies. He did once enjoy games then WoW ruined that. He is eagerly awaiting his next big MMO adventure. He anticipates he will be waiting a while, but he is a patient man. Competed in world championships for Marching Band and Warcraft 3. He reports doing poorly in both.
