Last week, our co-owners James and Emily headed to Sydney for the launch of the Top 30 Franchise Executives 2026 report, where we were proud to be official event sponsors.

First things first – congratulations to everyone recognised in this year's report. It was a privilege to celebrate alongside so many talented people from across the franchising industry, and hear some of the stories behind the brands.

At Fusion Signage, we're fortunate to work with franchise networks every day. From quick service restaurants and retail groups through to fitness and service-based franchises, we get a front-row seat to the challenges, opportunities and innovation happening across the sector. That's why events like this are always special. They give us the chance to meet the people behind the brands and better understand the work they're doing to support their franchisees, teams and customers.

Of course, one of the best parts of the evening wasn't the beautiful venue, inspiring presentations or mouth-watering canapés (although they certainly helped).

It was the chance to spend time with people we more often catch up with over emails, phone calls and video meetings.

We also enjoyed connecting in person with the Octomedia team, as we continue building our partnership together. Octomedia has been a long-time supporter of the franchising industry, and the team did a fantastic job bringing everyone together for the evening.

We're fortunate to work alongside so many good people, and nights like these are a great reminder that business is ultimately about relationships.
